I went to a seminar given by a chiropractor recently on how to relieve stress. Instead of talking about how to relieve stress, it was a sales pitch to convince me to become a patient in his office for treatment. Is this what your workshop is too?
I’m sorry for your unfortunate learning experience. While this dubious marketing strategy is by no means limited to chiropractors, they seem to have perfected and mass produced the technique.
Stress reduction is not the only subject on which they profess expertise. Industrial safety, preventing sports injuries, and the latest nutritional fads are among the surplus of topical issues on which some chiropractors try to capitalize. Not surprisingly, their solution to the problem is to come in for a series of adjustments. How convenient.
The Break the Pain Habit program is a one-time workshop designed to help you help yourself. Our participants leave with all the tools necessary to break the link between negative emotions like stress, frustration, disappointment, anguish, and pain.
The only “return visit” our participants make is a visit to our website to ask for guidance on how to apply the program or clarify misunderstandings.
Meanwhile, keep asking questions like these before attending another seminar or workshop. Forewarned is forearmed.
